The hidden cost of creator outreach: X (Twitter) is 0.0× more contactable than LinkedIn
Almost nobody runs this calculation when picking a platform: what share of creators there can you actually reach?
We checked the public profiles of 55,509 creator accounts for a published email or IM handle. The answer: 27.6% on X (Twitter) versus 0.0% on LinkedIn — a 0.0× gap.

| X (Twitter) | 9,170 | 27.6% | 17.5% |
| 367 | 24.3% | 19.9% | |
| Threads | 1,136 | 18.0% | 15.8% |
| Xiaohongshu (RED) | 2,815 | 3.8% | 3.8% |
| TikTok | 29,554 | 3.1% | 3.1% |
| YouTube | 4,891 | 2.9% | 2.7% |
| Douyin | 2,734 | 0.5% | 0.5% |

Why this is worth calculating first
A low public-contact rate does not mean creators are unreachable — it means you are limited to platform DMs. DMs carry three costs: platforms rate-limit messages from strangers, your message competes with every other partnership request, and you cannot attach a proper proposal. In practice, email reply rates run noticeably higher than cold DMs.
Translated into workload: to close 10 partnerships, on a platform at 27.6% contactable you may only need to work through a few dozen candidates; at 0.0% you either work through several hundred or accept a lower reply rate. This gap appears in no platform-comparison deck, yet it decides how much ground your BD team covers in a week.
One more signal that gets overlooked: creators who publish "for partnerships, contact xx@" in their bio are usually already looking for brand deals — reply rates from that group are structurally higher.
Methodology
The sample is 55,509 creator accounts indexed and validated inside Koinon Link. It is not every creator on these platforms, and it is not a random sample — it comes from our keyword-driven collection, which skews toward AI software, e-commerce and gaming.
"Suspected inflated" is our own anomaly detection, not a platform-official flag: it looks at whether follower growth arrived in vertical steps, whether the engagement-to-follower ratio sits far outside the normal band for that platform and size tier, and how templated the engagement looks. It means "worth a manual check", not "this account is definitely cheating".
